Job Description
The Research Analyst is an integral part of the Design and Analytics team that bolsters the efforts of our advisors in a wide array of situations and applications. The Research Analyst is responsible for commercial real estate research, data management, and market analysis. This role supports advisors and clients by delivering clear, accurate, and actionable market insights. The position requires strong analytic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a collaborative environment. The role is evolving and requires flexibility and adaptability to new and unique requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain internal research databases including tenant data, competitive sets, stacking plans, and development pipelines.
- Compile tenant location, ownership, contact, demographic, tax, traffic, and related market data using internal and third party sources.
- Produce market overviews, space surveys, property comparables, and client research materials.
- Support quarterly market reporting and ensure research data sets remain accurate and accessible throughout reporting cycles.
- Perform lease, sale, and valuation analyses, including support for Brokers Opinions of Value.
- Track and summarize local market activity and national real estate trends.
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Geography, or related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial real estate research or analytics,
- Experience supporting market reports or valuation deliverables.
