Inspector/Sr. Inspector at Barton & Loguidice – Rouses Point, New York

B&L has an opening for an on-site Inspector/Sr. Inspector for the 2026-2028 construction season for a water treatment plant improvement project. The project consists of the construction of a new 1.0 MGD WTP which utilizes membrane ultrafiltration. Also included in the project are the installation of two (2) new raw water pumps to convey water from the existing Raw Water Intake Maintenance Building to the proposed WTP.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect and document daily construction activities;
• Prepare daily diary/inspection reports and weekly progress reports;
• Measure quantities of materials used and work performed;
• Prepare/assist in preparation of monthly payment requests;
• Review claims for extra work and change order costs;
• Assist in coordination of utilities;
• Interpret contract plans and specifications; and
• Assist in coordination between the owner, contractor(s) and government agencies.

• The ideal candidate will have water/wastewater/sewer/drainage inspection experience.
• Basic computer skills are necessary to utilize construction software programs.

Estimated Pay Range: $37-45/hour.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
