To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S.,protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

We need a Facilities Manager to ensure our infrastructure is safe, efficient, and sustainable, which is crucial for our ambitious projects. This role is vital for maintaining the optimal environment for innovation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and aligning our facilities with organizational goals.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, safety protocols, and space optimization.
- Plan and execute construction projects from design to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Utilize internal and external resources effectively to manage AstroForge headquarters facility operations, including janitorial, maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities, ensuring optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
- Manage and supervise construction and maintenance staff, contractors, and external consultants.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and permitting requirements at the state, county, and local levels.
- Ensure maintenance work adheres to safety standards, meets specifications, and that work orders are tracked and completed within budget guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align facilities and construction projects with organizational objectives.
- Develop and manage the facilities and construction budget, including cost projections and financial reporting.
- Implement sustainable practices in facility maintenance and construction projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing facilities and maintaining equipment within highly regulated manufacturing environments such as Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor, or similar industries.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects and facilities operations.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in managing cleanrooms
- Expertise in facilities systems and improvement projects
- Skills in occupational health and safety, including risk assessment, policy, training, project management, hazardous substances, and safety in manufacturing engineering
- Knowledge and practical experience in emergency management and workplace hygiene
