Operations Supervisor - Wind Division at Altrad Sparrows – Houston, Texas

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dedicated team!

MAIN PURPOSE: The Operations Supervisor provides daily support to technicians for the renewables service division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Main point of contact, providing daily support to technicians, and contractors
• Ensure correct master data in onboard tracker, including upload and check of valid certificates.
• Conduct onboarding of new independent contractors displaying fluency in company policy, systems and procedures.
• New Project Kick off assistance, travel to sites for kick off meetings.
• Work closely with various departments such as Recruiting/HR, Training and Travel.
• Interface with customers on site to ensure we understand expectations and provide technical support.
• Assist in interviewing new candidates and building a team of wind turbine professionals.
• Prepare or pass on internal communications regarding company policies, news and information. Assist with ad-hoc problem-solving on administrative issues.
• Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Maintain safety culture within a growing organization to the highest standards in the industry.
• Travel up to 100% if necessary to accomplish project goals.
• Provide support to field technicians daily and resolve any issues they may have.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years wind turbine field experience.
• Ability to communicate with field technicians affectively.
• Ability to plan and organize conflicting priorities to effectively manage and accomplish work.
• Strong administrative, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly motivated with ability to thrive in fast paced environment with high call volumes.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform tasks independently, with minimum supervision, as well as within a team environment.
• Skilled in database management and record keeping
