Banking Applications and Data Analyst
Cape Girardeau, MO | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM |

We are looking for a Banking Applications & Data Analyst to join our technology team. This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys writing code, working with data, solving problems, and building tools that people actually use.
In this role, you will work with teams throughout the bank to develop applications, automate processes, build reports, and turn data into useful information for decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Develop applications and automation using Python, SQL, and Visual Basic
• Design SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processes using Microsoft SQL Server
• Build reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
• Integrate banking systems using APIs, SFTP, databases, and other technologies
• Identify manual processes and develop solutions to make them faster and more efficient
• Work with bank employees to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot, test, document, and maintain applications and reporting solutions
• Explore new technologies, including AI and automation, to improve the way we serve our customers and employees

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone with the technical foundation, curiosity, and problem-solving ability to keep learning and growing. You’ll likely be a great fit if you:

• Have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Development, or a related field is helpful, but we’re just as interested in what you can demonstrate you know how to do.
• Have experience with Python and SQL through work, internships, coursework, or projects
• Understand relational databases and enjoy working with data
• Like solving problems and building things—not just talking about them
• Can take a business problem, break it down, and figure out a technical solution
• Are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical people
• Pay attention to the details and care whether the numbers are actually right
• Can troubleshoot independently and aren’t afraid to research something you haven’t seen before
• Are organized, dependable, and follow things through to completion
• Are curious about new technology and have a growth mindset
• Even Better If You Have Experience With: SQL Server • VB.NET • HTML • JavaScript • REST APIs • SFTP • Power BI • Banking/Financial Systems • AI • Workflow Automation
