The Opportunity

As an F&I Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Modesto, you will play an essential role in the vehicle purchasing experience. You'll work closely with our sales management team, customers, and lending partners to provide competitive financing and leasing solutions while maintaining a seamless, transparent, and professional transaction process.

Our finance department utilizes advanced technology, including Reynolds and Reynolds docuPAD digital presentation and electronic signing technology, helping create a more efficient, modern, and engaging experience for both our customers and our team.

What You'll Do

• Deliver a refined, professional, and transparent finance experience consistent with Mercedes-Benz customer expectations.
• Structure retail finance and lease transactions, including programs through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and other lending institutions.
• Present vehicle protection products, extended service contracts, maintenance programs, and other F&I offerings through a consultative, customer-focused approach.
• Consistently achieve department performance objectives, including profit per retail unit (PVR), product penetration, funding efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Reynolds and Reynolds docuPAD and digital finance technology to create an efficient and professional contracting experience.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with lending partners to secure competitive financing options.
• Ensure all transactions comply with applicable federal and California laws, manufacturer requirements, and dealership policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate transaction documentation, resolve lender stipulations, and ensure timely contract funding.
• Collaborate with sales management, sales consultants, and accounting to ensure a smooth transition from vehicle selection through final delivery.
• Maintain current knowledge of finance programs, products, regulatory requirements, and automotive industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is an experienced automotive finance professional who combines strong production results with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of successful automotive dealership F&I Manager experience.
• Demonstrated history of strong F&I performance, product penetration, and profitability.
• Experience structuring automotive retail finance and lease transactions.
• Strong knowledge of lender programs, automotive financial products, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack, or comparable automotive finance systems.
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership driving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Mercedes-Benz or another luxury automotive brand.
• Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services programs and processes.
• Experience with digital contracting, electronic signing, and modern F&I presentation technology.
