Job Description

Description:

Build Projects. Lead People. Help Shape What's Next.

Legacy Power is growing, and we're looking for a Site Superintendent who enjoys being where the work happens.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. You'll be on active solar construction sites leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, solving problems, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the high standards our clients expect.

We're looking for someone who has solid field experience and is ready for the next step—someone who can confidently lead a project while continuing to grow their career alongside an expanding company.

If you're the kind of leader who earns respect by working alongside your team, values quality workmanship, and takes pride in seeing a project come to life, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll serve as the day-to-day leader for assigned solar construction projects, including:

Leading field crews and subcontractors

Coordinating daily construction activities, equipment, and deliveries

Maintaining project schedules while adapting to changing field conditions

Conducting daily safety meetings and enforcing OSHA standards

Performing QA/QC inspections and documenting project progress

Reviewing drawings, specifications, permits, and project documentation

Coordinating inspections with utilities and AHJs

Communicating closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, clients, and trade partners

Helping solve field challenges before they become project delays

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Approximately 3+ years of construction supervision experience
  • Experience in solar, electrical, or similar commercial construction
  • Ability to read construction and electrical drawings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 is a plus)
  • A valid driver's license
  • A collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Electrical licensing and civil/mechanical construction experience are a plus but not required.

This position regularly requires the ability to:

  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and direct sunlight.
  • Walk the jobsite regularly to monitor progress, observe work quality, and support field personnel throughout the workday.
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, bend, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and fall protection when required.
  • Safely access and work on active construction sites while maintaining constant awareness of changing site conditions.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Operate or work safely around construction equipment, tools, and heavy machinery.
  • Maintain visual acuity sufficient to inspect work quality, identify potential hazards, and read construction drawings and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively in noisy construction environments using verbal communication, radios, and mobile devices.
  • Travel to assigned project sites as required, including occasional overnight travel depending on project location.

Why Join Legacy Power?

You'll be joining a growing organization where your work has a direct impact.

Rather than stepping into a large corporate environment with layers of bureaucracy, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, contribute ideas, and help shape how projects are executed as the company continues to expand.

If you're looking for a company where your contributions are noticed, not just your job title, you'll fit right in.
