About Venture Guides
VG SALES is a venture-led, accelerated, technology sales training program built for competitive, highly motivated, and team-oriented college graduates without prior experience who are pursuing a career in technology sales. This is a full-time, on-site position at VG SALES HQ at Boston’s TD Garden for training and for work.
Initially screened and interviewed by Matt Gaede at VG SALES, you will be hired by a Venture Guides Portfolio Company, then you’ll dig into a 6-week, paid program that provides best in class foundational technology sales training and mentorship from the the Venture Guides team and all of the portfolio companies’ Sales Executives and teams of SDRs.
As you complete the sale training program, you will fully transition into your full-time role with the VG portfolio company that hired you in. Our success-driven, proprietary sales education will give you the knowledge and skills to fast-track your path to earning a six-figure income, accelerate your career growth, and build lasting relationships with Venture Guides’ network.
With this 6-week training program, you will work to acquire the tools, skills, and techniques that will fuels your long-term career success, including:
- The Leader’s mindset - learn how a successful sales organization grows into a multi-billion dollar business.
- Full-Time Intensive Sales Training - Full-time and dedicated training and coaching from some of the most successful leaders in the industry.
- Infrastructure Software Industry Expertise - Become proficient in the fastest growing and recession proof industry.
- Individual Performance and growth - Visibility into how individual performance will be measured
- 200+ hours of prospecting - 200+ hours of real-world prospecting (cold calls, emails, LI) to build skills that deliver high performance.
- Researching and creating targeted lists of people (prospects) to benefit from your company’s technology.
- Reaching out to identify sales opportunities
- Guide qualified prospects onto the next stage of the sales process by booking a further conversation between the prospect and the company’s Account Executive
- Continuously improve sales development skills and learn the different career paths to create a lucrative future in high-tech sales
