Inside Sales Rep at Service Tire Truck Centers – Auburn, Massachusetts

Sell products to business and industrial establishments, individuals at branch location or over the phone by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, suppliers, business directories, internet web sites, and other sources.

Makes outbound lead followup calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to sell products and services.

Handles inbound sales calls to convert calls into sales. Handle incoming calls concerning status of customers tires for recap or repair. Handle walk-in sales. You must be professional, friendly and courteous when dealing with customers both on and off the phone.

Overcomes technical and price objections of prospective customers.

Provides product demos to customers on request.

Writes up national account delivery receipts for road calls and takes orders from national account customers. Assist billing clerk as needed. Start billing for next days deliveries.

Work with route drivers and salesman every morning to expedite tags, work orders and national account billing. Pre delivery work should be started the day before, with a phone call being made to the account for any needs.

Emphasize product features, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.

Tracks inventory levels

Order inventory as needed to fulfill sales orders.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of STTCs production and delivery schedules.

Builds and maintains customer relationships.

Investigates and resolves customer problems.

Work on scheduled Weekends.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to use computers. Training will be provided as needed.

While performing the job duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk and hear for lengths of time. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
