This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Marketing based in the United States.
This is a senior executive opportunity to lead a global marketing organization and build a scalable engine for sustainable growth.
You will shape a multi-year marketing strategy spanning demand generation, product marketing, brand, communications, customer engagement, and revenue marketing.
The role has direct ownership of marketing’s contribution to pipeline, customer acquisition, market awareness, and revenue performance.
You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, Revenue Operations, Partners, and executive leadership to create a unified go-to-market strategy.
You will lead and develop a broad organization while modernizing marketing operations, technology, analytics, and performance measurement.
The position requires a commercially minded leader who can connect marketing investment to measurable business outcomes and influence executive-level decisions.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive 1–3 year marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives, revenue targets, and broader business priorities.
- Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline generation, customer acquisition, revenue growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Establish and monitor marketing KPIs across the funnel, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition cost, and marketing ROI.
- Lead demand generation and revenue marketing across digital, email, content, account-based marketing, partner marketing, social media, webinars, and field marketing.
- Optimize the buyer journey and sales funnel using analytics, attribution models, and performance insights.
- Lead the Business Development Representative organization, establishing scalable inbound and outbound strategies, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
- Develop BDR managers and team members while strengthening alignment between BDR, Sales, and Marketing functions.
- Define and evolve brand positioning, messaging, creative standards, web presence, advertising, and customer-facing communications.
- Oversee public relations, analyst relations, social media, executive communications, and thought-leadership initiatives to strengthen market visibility.
- Partner with Product Management to develop differentiated product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, launches, and market introductions.
- Lead market research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, buyer persona development, and sales enablement initiatives.
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy covering thought leadership, blogs, white papers, eBooks, webinars, videos, customer stories, and sales enablement materials.
- Own the strategy, execution, and measurement of events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and field marketing programs, with a strong focus on pipeline and ROI.
- Lead marketing operations, analytics, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and marketing technology strategy.
- Oversee CRM, marketing automation, analytics, attribution, and other marketing technology platforms to improve operational efficiency and performance visibility.
- Build, lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing organization across multiple disciplines, including employees, contractors, agencies, and strategic partners.
- Own the marketing budget and resource allocation strategy, partnering with Finance and Sales Operations to forecast, monitor, and optimize spend.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive B2B SaaS marketing leadership experience, including senior-level leadership responsibilities.
- Proven success leading demand generation and revenue marketing functions that consistently deliver measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience leading BDR or SDR organizations and creating strong alignment between Sales and Marketing.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, go-to-market strategies, customer acquisition, and subscription-based revenue models.
- Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing marketing organizations across multiple functions.
- Deep expertise across demand generation, digital marketing, ABM, content strategy, product marketing, event marketing, brand management, and customer marketing.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including experience with attribution models, funnel metrics, and marketing performance measurement.
- Experience overseeing public relations, analyst relations, corporate communications, and executive communications.
- Strong knowledge of marketing technology ecosystems, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, attribution, and reporting platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to connect marketing investments to pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, and business outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Experience managing significant budgets and allocating resources against strategic growth priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel on a limited basis.
- Base salary range of $225,000–$260,000 USD annually, depending on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, training, and qualifications.
