JOB OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and ongoing support of HYH America’s SAP system, scheduled to go live in 2027. The position serves as the primary point of contact for SAP-related requests and issues from business users across Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Business Planning, and other functions.
The role provides first-level support across SAP modules, coordinates issue resolution with local SAP partners and HYH headquarters IT in Korea, translates business needs into technical requirements, and supports system changes through impact analysis, testing, documentation, and vendor management.
This is a fulltime, exempt position, fully on-site based at our Irvine, CA office.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SAP System Operations & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain HYH America’s SAP system, scheduled to go live in March 2027
- Respond to SAP-related requests and issues submitted by business functions, including Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and Business Planning
- Provide first-level support for issues related to SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, and CO, and escalate issues to local SAP partners as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with HYH headquarters IT in Korea regarding SAP issues and change requests
Business & Technical Requirements
- Translate requests from non-technical users into clear technical requirements
- Analyze the system impact of proposed changes and perform required testing
Documentation & User Support
- Prepare and maintain SAP operation manuals, user guides, and issue-resolution history
Vendor & Service Request Management
- Manage local SAP partners and review/validate effort estimates and man-hours for the Service Request (SR) list
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in IT or related field
- 7+ years of experience in SAP operations, support, or consulting
- Hands-on experience and working knowledge in at least one of the following SAP modules: SD, MM, FI, or CO
- Ability to read and understand ABAP code for code analysis and troubleshooting
- Bilingual in English and Korean
Preferred Qualifications
- Participation in at least two full-cycle SAP new implementation or roll-out projects
- Experience implementing or managing interfaces between SAP and external systems

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Strong documentation and user-support capabilities
- Ability to coordinate effectively with headquarters IT and external SAP partners
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position and operate office equipment for a prolonged period.
- Must be able to work a schedule that supports business operations, including occasional weekends, holidays, and hours outside of the normal work schedule, as needed.
- Must be able to travel as business necessitates

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 120,000 USD per year(HYH America - Irvine)
