Job Description

Manager, Partner Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Partner Operations based in Canada.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on scaling a growing partnerships business through strategic programs and operational excellence. You’ll lead a portfolio of initiatives that turn emerging opportunities into scalable, measurable business capabilities. Working across strategy, operations, product, engineering, data, marketing, legal, and commercial teams, you’ll bring structure to complex and ambiguous challenges. You’ll combine analytical thinking with strong business judgment to improve growth, efficiency, and program economics. As a player-coach, you’ll lead and develop a globally distributed team while remaining closely involved in execution. This is an opportunity to shape new capabilities from concept through launch and build the systems that enable sustainable growth.

Accountabilities
  • Lead a portfolio of strategic programs designed to accelerate the growth, scalability, and performance of the partnerships business.
  • Take emerging opportunities from initial concept through launch and scale, establishing the processes, systems, operating models, and cross-functional structures required for reliable execution.
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, identify constraints and opportunities, and recommend actions that improve growth, efficiency, operational performance, and program economics.
  • Own complex programs end to end, coordinating stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Commercial Strategy, Legal, and external partners.
  • Use data, customer and partner insights, and structured problem-solving to evaluate opportunities, make informed trade-offs, and influence investment decisions.
  • Strengthen the Partner Operations foundation by improving tools, systems, workflows, processes, and operating models that enable partnerships to launch and scale effectively.
  • Lead and develop a globally distributed team of three to four operators across North America and the Philippines, setting clear priorities and helping team members become increasingly independent owners.
  • Serve as a strategic and operational leader who can move comfortably between defining direction, solving problems, and driving hands-on execution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, program management, general management, management consulting, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of people-management experience, with a demonstrated ability to set direction, develop talent, and lead high-performing operators.
  • Proven experience translating ambiguous business opportunities into clear strategies, operating plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, with a willingness to step into difficult problems and take accountability for results.
  • Strong business judgment and analytical capabilities, including the ability to assess performance, understand business economics, evaluate trade-offs, and determine where to invest resources.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics, create alignment around a compelling vision, and influence teams without direct authority.
  • An ownership mindset, strong learning agility, bias toward action, and low-ego approach to leadership and collaboration.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and new business capabilities need to be built from the ground up.
Benefits
  • Total cash compensation of CAD $120,700–$156,200 for candidates based in Ontario or British Columbia, including base salary and variable pay where applicable.
  • Compensation is determined based on factors such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency.
  • Remote-first working environment for eligible candidates in Ontario and British Columbia.
  • Opportunity to lead high-priority strategic initiatives with significant business visibility and measurable commercial impact.
  • Leadership and professional growth opportunities through direct ownership of strategic programs and people management.
  • Exposure to cross-functional work spanning product, engineering, data science, marketing, legal, commercial operations, and external partnerships.
  • Inclusive and equal-opportunity workplace committed to supporting diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the recruitment process for candidates with disabilities or medical conditions.
