Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Update medical records
• Preform EKG examinations
• Process patient orders and send prescriptions
• Confirm pharmacies
• Answer patient questions
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Administer injections

Skills

• Experience preferred as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Experiance using ECW (eClinical Works)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in faxing, typing
• Degree in medical assistance

Qualifications
- Medical administrative support

- eClinical Works

-Bilingual
- Basic life support certification
- Patient service experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
