Job Description

Description:

Full-Time | Onsite | 4-Day Workweek (32 Hours)
Salary: $67,025.92 – $77,079.81 annually, based on credentials and experience

Build the team. Strengthen the program. Create a place where recovery can take hold.

At Addictions Recovery Center (ARC), we believe some of the most meaningful work in recovery happens in everyday life. It happens through the routines people build, the relationships they develop, the challenges they work through, and the confidence they gain as they begin putting recovery into practice.

As our 3.1 Residential Program Manager, you'll help create an environment where that growth can happen every day.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to oversee the daily operations of our ASAM Level 3.1 residential program while supporting a dedicated team committed to helping individuals build stability, strengthen recovery skills, and prepare for greater independence.

You'll play an important role in developing staff, strengthening communication, creating consistency across shifts, and ensuring our residential program remains safe, supportive, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and support Residential Support Specialists and Certified Recovery Mentors.
  • Oversee daily residential operations, including staffing, scheduling, and coverage within a 24/7 program.
  • Establish clear expectations and strengthen communication, consistency, and accountability across shifts.
  • Monitor documentation, unit logs, medication counts, and other operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with clinical, medical, admissions, and operational teams to support coordinated client care.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff when responding to client concerns, crises, and critical incidents.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting, escalation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, professional development, and ongoing performance improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen program operations, and enhance the experience of clients and staff.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and trauma-informed environment where clients and employees feel supported and valued.

Schedule Expectations: Although ARC offers a four-day, 32-hour workweek, residential services operate 24/7. This position requires flexibility to support program needs, including occasional evenings, nights, weekends, and scheduled on-call responsibilities.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated experience in program operations, client services, and people management.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, and support accountability.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish structure, consistency, and clear operational processes in a residential setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, confidentiality requirements, and trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 residential environment.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CADC or Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM II-I) credential.
  • Additional education or training in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or residential care.
  • Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, residential services, or a related behavioral health setting.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of licensing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement in residential or behavioral health programs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role? We're looking for someone who leads with compassion while providing clear direction and accountability. Someone who remains calm when challenges arise, values collaboration, communicates openly, and understands the importance of creating an environment where both clients and staff feel respected and supported. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who believes in recovery and the possibility of meaningful, lasting change.
