Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for property management.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess the performance of properties and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain precise financial records.
• Utilize Property Management accounting software such as Yardi or Quickbooks to manage accounts and generate reports.
• Collaborate with institutional teams to provide necessary financial documentation and insights.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for property operations.
• Review and interpret financial reports, providing recommendations based on findings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Property Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of financial report writing and interpretation.
• Proficiency in using property management software for accounting & reconciliations.
• Experience in third-party management environment is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
