Position Overview:


API is seeking a seasoned professional to join our company in the role of a Data & Reporting Analyst. The position will be based in our Melville, NY - HQ Office Location. The Data Analyst will utilize advanced algorithms to turn data into information and information into actionable insights.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Interpret a broad array of reporting and data analysis requests from our Client Delivery team who require these reports in order support our airline clients.
  • Be able to produce professional grade data reports in Excel and PowerPoint

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Great attention to detail.

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years in a data analyst or related analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Comfortable working with business partners, managing deadlines, and adapting to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting tools preferred

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, normal core business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Compensation:
The good faith compensation for this position is 60,000 - 75,000 USD, commensurate with experience.
