You will lead a high-impact engineering team building a no-code customer activation platform that enables marketers and operators to turn warehouse data into real-time campaigns and insights. The work spans areas such as data infrastructure performance, audience segmentation, experimentation, and AI-powered workflow enhancement. This is a highly visible role where your decisions directly influence product velocity, reliability, and customer success. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply focused on building scalable systems that unlock value from complex data ecosystems.

- Own technical roadmap execution, balancing speed and quality while driving delivery of key product features across areas such as data activation, segmentation, and analytics.
- Improve engineering velocity by removing bottlenecks, refining development processes, and fostering a strong culture of ownership and accountability.
- Ensure system reliability and operational excellence by strengthening incident management practices, reducing production issues, and improving system resilience.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to define requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and shape long-term technical direction.
- Lead recruiting efforts for the team, including hiring strategy, candidate evaluation, and building a strong pipeline of high-impact engineers.
- Mentor and develop engineers, supporting their growth while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in engineering management roles within a SaaS or data-driven product environment.
- Strong technical background in distributed systems, data platforms, or backend infrastructure, with the ability to engage deeply in architectural decisions.
- Proven track record of leading teams that build and scale customer-facing products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience balancing product delivery with operational excellence, including reliability, observability, and incident response.
- Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into technical execution plans.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, making pragmatic trade-offs, and driving clarity across teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Competitive compensation package including base salary and meaningful equity (ISO options)
- Remote-first work environment across North America
- Flexible PTO with emphasis on balance and sustainability
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (regional availability)
- 10-year post-termination exercise window for stock options
- Early exercise options for equity
- Strong focus on professional growth and internal mobility
- Opportunity to work on high-impact, data-intensive products at scale
