Swingtech Consulting is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of Human Resources operations. This role provides critical support across all functions of Human Resources while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and managers.
The ideal candidate effectively manages multiple priorities, demonstrates initiative, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. This position is best suited for an HR professional looking to expand their knowledge while supporting a broad range of HR functions.
This is an in-office position. An on-site presence is an essential function of the role to support new hire onboarding, employee interactions, confidential HR processes, and collaboration with leadership and team members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with the preparation and distribution of offer letters.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, employment verifications, and new hire documentation.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data; conduct routine audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Support benefits administration run benefit and 401(k) enrollment reports for plan submissions and broker updates.
- Act as 401(k) subject matter expert, coordinate loan processing and hardship withdrawals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee questions regarding benefits, HR policies, leave processes, and HR procedures, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Assist with leave administration by tracking documentation and coordinating communications with employees and third-party administrators.
- Assist in coordinating performance review cycles, monitoring completion deadlines, providing administrative support throughout the process.
- Assist with employee recognition, engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company events.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards, including recruiting, turnover, and other workforce data.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company recordkeeping requirements.
- Assist with policy acknowledgments, training and development assignments, and HR communications.
- Support annual HR initiatives including open enrollment, performance management, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Human Resources team as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience with emphasis in HR coordination, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, or HR operations.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee information.
- Working knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
