Assistant Court Maintenance in Fort Myers, Florida at Lexington Country Club

Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers is seeking an Assistant Court Maintenance Engineer to join our Staff.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, maintenance, and overall appearance of the tennis, pickleball, and bocce court facilities to ensure excellent playing conditions and a high-quality member experience. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts and surrounding areas for daily play.
• Inspect, groom, maintain, and repair all courts to ensure excellent playing conditions.
• Perform court rolling, brushing, pressure washing, debris removal, and other assigned maintenance tasks.
• Remove clay from sidewalks and walkways using blowers and cleaning equipment.
• Pull weeds, remove algae, clear drains, and maintain overall court cleanliness and appearance.
• Clean and maintain tennis net headbands, windscreens, fences, sprinklers, and court filtration systems.
• Assist with tennis net repairs, fence painting, windscreen upkeep, and general outdoor maintenance projects.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and perform general custodial duties around the court facilities.
• Communicate court condition concerns or maintenance issues to the Director of Court Sports.

Qualifications:

Experience with clay courts is not required, as training will be provided; however, general outdoor maintenance or groundskeeping experience is preferred.

• Hours are weekday 8am-2pm.
• Job begins June 1st, 2026, and ends August 31st, 2026
