Sedron is a leading provider of circular waste management technologies for agricultural manure and municipal biosolids processing, deploying facilities across several North American regions. Since its founding in 2014, Sedron has pioneered innovative solutions, including the patented Varcor® system, to transform waste into clean water, organic fertilizer, and carbon-negative commodities. With strong engineering expertise, Sedron’s processes reduce nutrient pollution, lower operational expenses, and promote sustainability at a fraction of traditional costs.

The Associate, Corporate Finance supports the Company’s growth through strategic financial execution, including assessing organic/inorganic growth opportunities, capital raising, and project financing. This role reports to the VP of Finance & Corporate Development to evaluate growth opportunities, navigate the capital markets, and manage transaction processes from initial diligence through close.

  • Support structuring and negotiation of transactions, including coordination with legal, tax, and external advisors
  • Develop lender and investor materials, including financial packages, projections, and presentations
  • Coordinate with banks, investors, and financing partners through underwriting, diligence, and closing processes
  • Track and manage deal pipelines, timelines, and key deliverables across multiple concurrent transactions
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and scenario modeling
  • Track and monitor market comparables, industry transactions, and capital markets activity relevant to Sedron's business
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and research requests from senior leadership
  • Maintain and update internal financial reference materials, deal templates, and process documentation
  • Support investor relations activities, including preparation of materials for existing capital partners
  • Contribute to cross-functional finance initiatives as the team and business scale

This position allows for growth and career progression to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

  • FSA and HSA options with employer contributions
  • Tuition reimbursement — we invest in your growth
  • Casual work attire — no suits required (unless that’s your thing)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction-focused finance
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling (valuation, LBO, project finance, or similar)
  • Experience building and analyzing complex transaction structures
  • Familiarity with data rooms, diligence processes, and documentation practices
  • Advanced PowerPoint and similar presentation software skills
