About This Position
The Facilities & Grounds Associate is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the property. This role supports daily operations by ensuring exterior areas, parking lots, landscaping, buildings, and company vehicles meet established cleanliness and operational standards. The position plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors while supporting efficient day-to-day operations and brand presentation.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities- Pick up trash and debris throughout parking lots, buildings, and surrounding grounds
- Maintain landscaping areas, including weed control, trimming, and general upkeep
- Wash building exteriors, entrances, signage, and high-visibility guest areas
- Clean and wash shuttle buses and company vehicles to maintain appearance standards
- Monitor lot conditions and report hazards, damage, or maintenance needs
- Assist with light facility maintenance and operational support tasks as needed
- Ensure walkways, customer areas, and operational spaces remain clean and safe
- Operate groundskeeping, cleaning, and washing equipment safely and properly
- Support seasonal needs such as snow removal preparation, weather cleanup, or peak travel readiness
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards
This position requires regular outdoor work and physical activity. Associates should be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and carry materials for extended periods. The role may involve lifting items up to approximately 50 pounds, operating groundskeeping and cleaning equipment, washing buildings and vehicles, and working in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Attention to safety practices and proper equipment use is essential.
Shift ExpectationsSchedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods based on operational needs. Flexibility is important, as shifts may vary depending on seasonal demands, weather conditions, shuttle activity, and property needs. Occasional extended hours or schedule adjustments may be required to maintain facility standards, vehicle cleanliness, and overall operational readiness.
Requirements: Job Requirements- Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining reliable and accountable
- Strong task-orientation with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow through on assigned duties
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment that reflects positively on the company brand
- Attention to detail and pride in keeping facilities, vehicles, and grounds consistently presentable
