Chief Legal Operations Liaison

Chief Legal Operations Liaison Compensation: Up to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Chief Legal Operations Liaison Overview:
A top-tier Texas law firm, nationally recognized for its trial excellence and legal innovation, is seeking a Chief Legal Operations Liaison to the President. This high-impact role is ideal for a licensed attorney who thrives at the intersection of litigation, leadership, and legal strategy execution.

You won’t be just an “assistant” — you will be the strategic right hand to the President of Legal Operations, ensuring that our litigation machine runs efficiently, our attorneys remain accountable, and our cases are always trial-ready. You will leverage your legal experience to orchestrate high-level operational execution, drive productivity, and maintain the momentum behind a docket filled with multimillion-dollar cases.

Chief Legal Operations Liaison Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison and strategic operations partner to the President of Legal Operations.
  • Own and oversee litigation docket readiness across departments, ensuring trial preparedness at all stages.
  • Coordinate closely with senior trial attorneys, identifying and eliminating operational roadblocks to success.
  • Prepare high-level reports, legal briefings, and data analyses to inform executive decision-making.
  • Lead execution of legal initiatives, special projects, and firm-wide operational improvements.
  • Track, report, and drive key performance indicators across attorney performance, litigation milestones, and client satisfaction.
  • Reinforce firm policy and procedural compliance through intelligent influence and proactive oversight.
  • Manage the President’s schedule, priorities, and critical communications to ensure maximal effectiveness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between legal, administrative, and executive teams.

Chief Legal Operations Liaison Ideal Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor and current licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in litigation (plaintiff or defense), with a strong understanding of trial preparedness and docket management.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes legal environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and executive communication skills.
  • Confident, diplomatic, and assertive personality with a proven ability to influence senior attorneys.
  • Highly perceptive, emotionally intelligent, and skilled at reading people and situations.
  • Proficiency with legal tech, docketing systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.

Why This Role?

This isn’t your standard administrative gig. It’s a rare opportunity for a seasoned litigator to move into a high-level leadership and operations role — where your legal insight is valued, your strategic mindset is required, and your impact is felt firmwide.

You’ll gain:

  • Access to high-level firm strategy and operations
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership
  • Influence over firm policy, performance, and litigation success
  • The chance to shape how one of Texas' top litigation firms functions day-to-day

Chief Legal Operations Liaison Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary up to $150,000 DOE
  • Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, holidays
  • Medical (80% employer contribution), dental, vision, and supplemental insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% immediate match and vesting
  • Year-end discretionary bonus
  • Relocation reimbursement
  • Career advancement path
  • Gym membership and wellness perks
  • Company events and community engagement initiatives
