We are seeking a skilled Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Attorney who is ready to join a values-driven, community-oriented firm where collaboration and excellence are at the heart of everything we do. This is an outstanding opportunity for a confident, trial-ready litigator who thrives on smart advocacy. You will manage a meaningful caseload of personal injury cases from pre-litigation through resolution, preparing every file as if it is going to trial. While many cases resolve through strong negotiation and settlement, the right candidate will eagerly take cases to the courtroom when it serves the client’s best interest and will always ensure every file is fully prepared for trial. We operate as a collaborative, community-based think tank where attorneys, paralegals, and support staff work together in an engaging, supportive environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage a hearty caseload of personal injury matters (motor vehicle accidents, commercial/trucking cases, and other serious injury claims) through all phases of litigation. Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and other court documents with precision and strategy. Conduct and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives. Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel while keeping every case trial-ready. Prepare for and participate in trials (jury selection, openings/closings, witness examinations, and evidence presentation) when it serves the client’s best interest. Maintain regular, empathetic communication with clients throughout the litigation process. Devote full professional efforts to advancing client interests in a collaborative environment.Required Skills/Abilities:
5+ years of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation experience, including substantial hands-on experience handling expert depositions, mediation and settlement negotiations, discovery, and motion practice. Demonstrated trial experience, including first-chair adn lead counsel roles in jury trials, is preferred. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. Proficiency with case management software such as Litify, Salesforce, or similar platforms. J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in the Texas Bar and in good standing.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and hold accountable dedicated support staff; conduct weekly pipeline reviews to ensure files move efficiently while meeting the firm’s high standards.Physical Requirements:
Office Environment: Primarily sedentary work performed in a professional office setting. The role requires in-person attendance M-F with limited remote options. Sitting/Stationary Position: Ability to remain seated for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours daily) while managing and reviewing case files on a computer. Computer Use: Frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and dual monitors; repetitive hand/wrist motions for typing and data entry. Occasional Travel: Local travel on rare occasion when necessitated by client. Visual Acuity: Close vision and ability to read fine print on paper and screens for prolonged periods.
