You will guide high-impact B2B campaigns, helping clients achieve measurable growth through innovative social strategies.
The position combines executive-level client partnership with hands-on knowledge of evolving paid social platforms and digital marketing trends.
You will lead talented teams, mentor professionals, and establish best practices that drive both client success and internal growth.
Working across multiple disciplines, you will shape full-funnel strategies that connect paid media efforts to broader business objectives.

Accountabilities:

As Director, Paid Social, you will lead paid social strategy, client relationships, and team performance while ensuring campaigns deliver strong business outcomes. You will act as a strategic advisor, connecting channel expertise with broader marketing objectives and driving operational excellence across client portfolios.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop paid social teams through coaching, feedback, training, and career development support.
  • Build strong understanding of client businesses, including market positioning, competitors, business objectives, and performance priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated, full-funnel, cross-channel marketing strategies.
  • Serve as the strategic account leader responsible for aligning internal teams, managing expectations, and ensuring successful client outcomes.
  • Maintain deep expertise across paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging channels.
  • Develop strategic recommendations on channel selection, campaign structure, audience strategy, testing approaches, and performance optimization.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and agency best practices to continuously improve campaign execution.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex client challenges, helping teams resolve issues and identify effective solutions.
  • Oversee major client deliverables, including executive presentations, business reviews, strategic plans, and performance recommendations.
  • Support successful onboarding of new clients by establishing strong processes, strategies, and collaboration models.
  • Build scalable team structures, define career paths, and identify opportunities for talent growth and succession planning.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and represent paid social expertise during client pitches and strategic discussions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a seasoned paid social leader with strong B2B marketing experience, proven team management capabilities, and the ability to translate digital performance insights into meaningful business outcomes. You should be comfortable balancing strategic vision, client leadership, and operational execution.

  • 8+ years of experience in paid social marketing and at least 3 years in a client-facing marketing role.
  • Required B2B marketing experience with a strong understanding of business-focused campaign strategies.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams, including at least 3 direct reports or team members.
  • Deep expertise across paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to communicate paid social strategies, goals, KPIs, and direct-response tactics clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience auditing campaigns and providing actionable performance recommendations.
  • Ability to support business pitches and represent paid social expertise in client-facing environments.
  • Broad understanding of paid media channels, including search, shopping, display, mobile, native, and video.
  • Experience serving as a client escalation point and improving service quality through strategic recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to inspire teams while maintaining a focus on performance, innovation, and client satisfaction.
