To instruct the Natural Resource Science course NRSC 2200 – Forest ecology and Silvics II. Two 2 hour seminars per week and all associated marking (lab assignments etc.)
Job includes: 3.5 credits for the three labs (2+1.5 = total 3.5 credits)
A MSc in natural resource management (or related area) Past teaching experience would be considered an asset. The candidate requires:
• A working knowledge of the biogeoclimatic zones of BC
• Ability to identify and interpret the use of indicator species in the description of forest ecosystems
• An understanding of forest ecology and management
• Work experience in ecosystem ecology at a field/operational level
