The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that enhance reputation, support business objectives, and ensure consistent messaging across internal and external audiences. The role requires strong storytelling skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex communications initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and execute external communications plans supporting key milestones, including product launches, clinical trial updates, pipeline advancements, and regulatory achievements.
- Strengthen corporate reputation by ensuring consistent messaging and storytelling across media, digital platforms, and stakeholder communications.
- Create and manage communication materials, including press releases, key messages, Q&A documents, media pitches, briefing materials, executive content, blog posts, and social media content.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Patient Advocacy, Commercial, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, and Internal Communications to align messaging and engagement strategies.
- Support media monitoring initiatives to track industry developments, policy changes, scientific advancements, and trends impacting healthcare and patient communities.
- Manage communication review processes, ensuring materials meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the communications function in cross-functional meetings by providing strategic recommendations, capturing action items, and supporting execution.
- Contribute to digital communications strategies across corporate websites, social media channels, and other online platforms.
- Support communications around sensitive or confidential topics with strong judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is an experienced corporate communications professional with a background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related industries. You bring exceptional writing capabilities, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environments.
- Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape, including clinical development processes, regulatory milestones, and healthcare communications.
- Proven experience supporting communications around product launches, pipeline updates, clinical data announcements, and major business milestones.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific information into engaging and accessible narratives.
- Strong project management abilities with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to measure communication effectiveness and business impact.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality communications materials.
- Competitive annual salary range of $154,000 - $190,300 USD.
