We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Data Developer to support a critical SAP implementation project within the Oil & Gas industry.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex data conversion and migration activities while ensuring business continuity during a high-priority initiative.
The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL expertise, SAP data migration experience, and the ability to quickly take ownership of technical deliverables.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, functional experts, offshore resources, and implementation partners.
This position requires a hands-on professional who can solve complex data challenges, optimize processes, and maintain high-quality project outcomes.
Working remotely, you will play a key role in supporting successful testing, validation, and deployment activities within an accelerated timeline.

The Senior SQL Data Developer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data conversion processes while supporting a major enterprise implementation. The role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Step into a senior data development role to maintain project momentum and support critical implementation activities.
• Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and review complex SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and data validation processes.
• Support SAP data conversion and migration activities, including extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
• Work with Oil & Gas industry data, including Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA)-related conversion activities.
• Collaborate with functional teams, technical teams, offshore resources, implementation partners, and business stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve data quality, integrity, and migration-related issues throughout project phases.
• Support mock conversions, testing cycles, cutover preparation, and production data validation efforts.
• Create technical documentation, provide project updates, and communicate issue resolutions clearly.
• Operate with minimal supervision while managing high-priority deliverables and strict project timelines.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced data professional with a strong background in SQL development, SAP implementation projects, and Oil & Gas data environments. This position requires technical depth, adaptability, and strong communication skills.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Proven experience supporting SAP implementation, data migration, or conversion projects.
• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas industry data processes and business requirements.
• Experience working with SAP data conversions, including familiarity with PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting).
• Ability to quickly assume ownership of senior-level technical responsibilities with limited onboarding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and support business-critical deadlines.
• Experience with ETL processes, data profiling, or migration tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments within the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
• Experience supporting cutover planning, mock loads, production data loads, and distributed delivery models is preferred.
• Ability to start within one week is required.
