This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Internal Communications Manager based in the United States.
As the Internal Communications Manager, you will help build and scale a modern internal communications function from the ground up.
You will partner closely with senior leadership to keep employees aligned, informed, and engaged around company priorities.
The role combines strategic communications, editorial execution, leadership enablement, and day-to-day channel management.
You will own high-impact programs such as company-wide meetings, internal newsletters, intranet communications, and leadership forums.
You’ll work across teams to ensure important information reaches employees clearly, consistently, and effectively.
This is an autonomous, high-visibility opportunity for a strong communicator who enjoys building systems in a fast-moving environment.
You’ll also be expected to use AI tools as part of your everyday workflow to increase speed, scale, and quality.
- Lead the end-to-end production of monthly company-wide meetings, including agendas, run of show, production, Q&A management, measurement, and follow-up communications.
- Rebuild and maintain the internal intranet as a trusted, centralized source of employee information, resources, and updates.
- Audit and manage company-wide Slack channels by establishing communication standards, curating relevant content, and reducing unnecessary noise.
- Establish and manage internal newsletters, including editorial standards, publishing cadence, governance, and content quality.
- Own senior leadership and manager forums, developing agendas, coordinating content, preparing executives, and managing Q&A.
- Create communication resources and messaging that enable senior leaders and managers to effectively cascade important information to their teams.
- Partner with the Head of Global Communications and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute internal communications programs aligned with organizational priorities.
- Establish measurement frameworks and key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives.
- Experiment with new communication methods, technologies, and formats to improve employee engagement and information flow.
- Use AI-powered tools and workflows to increase productivity, accelerate content creation, and scale internal communications while applying strong editorial judgment.
- 7+ years of professional communications experience, with significant experience in internal communications.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling internal communications programs and operating models from the ground up.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with the versatility to write in an executive voice while also producing clear, engaging employee communications.
- Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recurring initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, creating structure and improving processes without waiting for detailed direction.
- Strong executive presence and judgment, with the confidence to partner effectively with senior leaders and C-level executives.
- Active and fluent use of AI tools such as Claude or comparable platforms as a standard part of professional workflows.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a high-growth B2B technology or cybersecurity environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with internal communications measurement and developing KPIs is a plus.
- Experience with modern communications and collaboration platforms such as Slack, Slido, Zoom, Confluence, or comparable intranet and newsletter tools is preferred.
- A creative, experimental mindset with an interest in developing new ways to communicate effectively with employees.
- Annual salary range of $110,000–$130,000 USD, with bonus and equity opportunities in addition to base compensation.
