This role sits at the intersection of product management, cybersecurity, engineering, and customer experience, shaping how organizations assess software risks in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
You will own product direction for scanning capabilities, detection quality, and workflows that help customers confidently manage security decisions.

This role requires strong product ownership, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership to improve detection capabilities and deliver meaningful value to customers.

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a shared scanning platform supporting multiple security products and use cases.
  • Drive improvements in detection quality by defining key metrics, analyzing performance, and creating feedback loops between engineering and security teams.
  • Develop scalable workflows for reviewing, managing, escalating, and resolving security detections efficiently.
  • Expand scanning capabilities across different software artifacts, including containers, libraries, AI-related assets, and future product areas.
  • Partner with security teams to identify emerging threats, improve malware detection capabilities, and deliver actionable security insights.
  • Define customer workflows for investigating findings, managing policies, and operating security controls at enterprise scale.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, security, and go-to-market teams to align priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Guide products from early concepts through adoption, iteration, and continuous improvement based on customer needs and market evolution.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with technical expertise in security, infrastructure, or developer-focused platforms. They should be comfortable leading complex initiatives, influencing technical teams, and making strategic decisions in an evolving environment.

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record building technical products, platforms, infrastructure, or security solutions.
  • Experience managing highly technical products that support multiple customers, teams, or product areas.
  • Strong understanding of software supply chain security, malware detection, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity domains.
  • Ability to make effective product prioritization decisions in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence engineering, security, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience taking products from early-stage concepts through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Technical credibility with the ability to discuss architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and security concepts with engineering teams.
  • Experience with malware detection, static analysis, software composition analysis, vulnerability scanning, or related technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with package ecosystems such as npm, PyPI, Maven, Go modules, or container registries is beneficial.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure, enterprise security platforms, or AI-assisted security analysis is advantageous.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $205,000 - $231,000 USD.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment with opportunities for team meetups and company gatherings.
  • Monthly stipend supporting coworking spaces, phone, and internet expenses.
  • Equity opportunities through stock options upon hire and promotion.
  • Extended option exercise period providing long-term flexibility.
  • 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance premiums for employees and dependents.
  • Flexible paid time off policy designed to support balance and wellbeing.
  • Paid parental leave, including up to 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and career development.
  • Collaborative culture built around customer focus, trust, innovation, and meaningful impact.
