Position Information
This position is based on funding from University of California Office of the President (UCOP). The full salary range for the Assistant Training Manager / Instructional Designer is $71,931.60 - $127,994.40 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $99,952 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. *As part of the recruitment process, a work sample and presentation(s) may be required from identified finalists.*The Assistant Training Manager/Instructional Designer participates as a training, education, or instructional design professional in a systemwide program or project. The individual selects technologies and tools, creates supportive learning activities, and develops new training in response to the University's needs. In collaboration with others, the position creates multimedia content and produces according to an established schedule. The individual will analyze needs and develop recommendations to address a wide range of training issues. The Assistant Training Manager/Instructional Designer provides the support for testing courses to ensure they are functional, designed for learning in mind, and compliant with learning management systems. The individual serves on a Center of Excellence (COE) team on projects that will have University of California (UC) system wide impact. This position is based on funding from University of California Office of the President (UCOP).Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
