About This Position

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and implementing a wide range of Human Resources initiatives. Helps drive process improvements and optimization within HRIS and will play a pivotal role in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees within the Learning Management System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes employee recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants for assigned companies.
  • Oversees new hire orientation and employee recognition programs for assigned companies.
  • Collaborate with functional users to determine business requirements to execute HRIS system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) to improve system efficiency, functionality, and stability.
  • Drive process improvements and utilization of HRIS to improve overall employee experience. Promote and monitor employee and manager self-service usage.
  • Review data integrity and compliance by running reports, auditing, analyzing information and troubleshooting errors.
  • Act as a liaison between key functional and business partners to work with and educate users on applications and technology in support of business processes and enhancements.
  • Support the continuous improvement and optimization of HR processes and programs.
  • Drive utilization of Learning Management System across all companies, monitors and reports out on usage.
  • Identify and develop training programs to deliver a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills to all levels of the organization. Develops curriculum that addresses business needs.
  • Recommend training and development plans which match learning curves and are aligned to business objectives.
  • Monitors performance appraisal program by training managers on employee assessment and development methods and ensure reviews are completed timely.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Provides backup support for benefits and leave administration.
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in human resources, or a 4-year degree in related discipline, preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in human resource roles preferred.
  • HRIS and Learning Management experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of HRIS and Learning Management Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to advise and influence business leaders on how human resource actions can impact business performance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain good attendance habits.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with other department managers, working to maintain constructive working relationships under all circumstances.
  • Abide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Abide by the company’s safety, quality, environmental, and HR policies at all times.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel to lift objects of 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to use stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to be confined to a designated work area and stand for a long period of time.
  • Ability to carry out tasks in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at once.
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit.  
  • Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.  
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually in an office environment. The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet.
