Job Overview
The Business Systems Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery of system and process initiatives across National Rarities, with a primary focus on NetSuite and operational systems. This role ensures projects are well-defined, prioritized, and executed efficiently while providing clear visibility to stakeholders. Success in this role requires the ability to bridge technical concepts—database structures, integrations, and back-end logic—with the front-end operational workflows that business users experience daily.
This position partners closely with Leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, the Lead Solutions Architect, and the development team to translate business needs into actionable work, maintain delivery momentum, and improve overall system adoption and performance.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead end-to-end delivery of business systems projects, from intake through implementation, including requirement definition, testing coordination, and release readiness.
- Serve as the central intake point for system requests, ensuring clear requirements and prioritization.
- Partner with leadership and the Lead Solutions Architect to align work with business priorities and technical direction.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical resources, translating needs into clear functional requirements and actionable work.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting on project status, roadmap, and team capacity.
- Establish and maintain a lightweight project management cadence to improve team efficiency and throughput.
- Identify and drive process and system improvements to enhance adoption, scalability, and overall platform performance.
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of project management or business systems experience
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in high-growth or operationally complex environments
- Familiarity with system integrations and process automation
- Working understanding of relational data concepts (records, relationships, custom fields) and how back-end system design impacts end-user workflows
