Description

The Online & Learning Engagement (OLE) CRM Enrollment Specialist is responsible for course creation, admission, and enrollment of a diverse community of learners, particularly working with off-campus cohorts, contract programs, special programming and continuing education credit/unit programs. This position requires close collaboration with various offices across campus in support of student success and serves as the liaison between external organizations and academic departments. This position supports the university's CRM team in the recruitment, application review, yield, and enrollment of non-degree and special credit students. This position functions as an institutional resource for students, faculty, and staff regarding programs, policies, and protocols specific to OLE. This position assists the Outreach Coordinator in marketing activities for prospective and admitted students, stakeholders, and community members.

Examples of Duties

Manage the comprehensive lifecycle of courses, admissions, and enrollments for off-campus cohorts, contract programs, special programming, and continuing education credit/unit programs. - 40%
  • Understanding of the diverse needs of learners, effective collaboration with external stakeholders, and a commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for a broad spectrum of individuals.

Contribute to Slate, UCM's Customer Relations Management ( CRM ) software, by developing a knowledge base of its functionality for marketing and communication. - 25%
  • Consulting with the UCM Slate team to recommend strategies and plans to address opportunities and gaps in the enrollment funnel with the aim of increasing inquiries, conversions, and enrollments for OLE student populations.
  • Creating/maintaining documentation on processes, policies, and procedures as Slate evolves.

Support the Outreach Coordinator in the promotion of OLE's programs and initiatives. - 25%
  • Active involvement in planning and executing special events.
  • Managing marketing activities within Slate.
  • Generating content for OLE's social media channels.
  • Contributing to the editing and proofreading of webpages and newsletters.

Collaborate closely with the Registrar's Office, OLE's Manager for Business and Fiscal Operations, and Student Financial Services, to facilitate the proper policies and procedures of enrollment and billing associated with OLE's student population. - 10%
  • Requesting schedule types for specific programs.
  • Verifying instructor salaries.
  • Student bill processing.
  • Providing course rosters for contract programs to verify third-party credit.


Typical Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
Experience:
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in higher education or a combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency using modern office technologies, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email/calendaring, and presentation software.
  • Knowledge of distance education, adult learners, and continuing education - preferred.
  • Experience with Banner and Slate - preferred.
  • Experience with digital content creation/design - preferred.
