St. Vincent de Paul School & Preschool seeks a Director of Admissions & Marketing to lead the school’s efforts to attract, enroll, and retain students while advancing its Catholic mission and brand. This role oversees enrollment strategy, marketing and communications, and supports advancement initiatives to ensure long-term school sustainability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enrollment & Recruitment

  • Lead enrollment strategy from inquiry through retention
  • Oversee admissions processes, including tours, assessments, and family communication
  • Analyze enrollment data and adjust strategies to meet goals
  • Plan and execute admissions events (Open Houses, tours, shadow days)
  • Build partnerships with parishes, preschools, and community organizations
  • Represent the school and preschool in recruitment and outreach efforts
  • Oversee new family onboarding and support retention initiatives

Marketing & Communications

  • Direct branding, messaging, and marketing strategy
  • Oversee website, social media, and school publications
  • Ensure consistent, mission-aligned communication across all platforms

Advancement & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with leadership on fundraising and annual giving efforts
  • Support fundraising events and donor stewardship
  • Partner in the development and growth of the school’s endowment
  • Strengthen relationships with families, alumni, parish, and community partners

Operations & Leadership

  • Manage admissions and marketing systems, data, and reporting
  • Oversee projects, timelines, and related resources
  • Supervise support staff and ensure operational effectiveness
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Requirements:

Religious Qualifications

  • Active, practicing Roman Catholic (preferred)
  • Respects and understands a Catholic school philosophy

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school leadership and staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic database systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience in admissions, marketing, communications, nonprofit development, or school administration (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer and use a telephone. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office, as well as maneuver throughout the parish/school facility to attend meetings, briefings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
