POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Development is the organization’s chief architect of philanthropic revenue and brand strategy. This executive leads all fundraising, marketing, communications, and public relations operations to drive increased visibility, engagement, and sustainable revenue growth.
Reporting to the President/CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President of Development designs and executes a comprehensive development and communications strategy, personally manages a major donor portfolio, and positions the organization for long‑term financial and reputational success. The Vice President also works closely with the Board of Directors to activate them as ambassadors and fundraisers.
EMPLOYEES DIRECTLY SUPERVISED:
The Vice President of Development manages and oversees all development and marketing positions such as: Director of Major Gifts, Director of Corporate Partnerships, Director of Special Events, Director of Grants and Compliance, Director of Individual Giving, Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
