Job Description
California Western School of Law (CWSL) seeks a dynamic, relationship-driven, and highly organized Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Engagement (Assistant Director) to support the law school's fundraising, and alumni engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Engagement, this position plays a vital role in advancing the law school's mission through annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, alumni communications, and engagement programs. The Assistant Director will collaborate with alumni, donors, students, volunteers, and community partners to develop meaningful connections that strengthen philanthropic support and foster lifelong engagement with CWSL. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills who thrives in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
Minimum Qualifications:
Compensation: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annual Salary
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for this role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The higher end of the range will be considered for well qualified candidates. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the law school reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the law school anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity and budget.
