POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the VP of Development and working closely with the Director of Major Gifts this multi-faceted role will help the BGCGSD in generating significant revenue. The Director of Individual Gifts is responsible for overseeing and executing all direct mail campaigns, reoccurring donor program, and our peer-to-peer fundraising campaign, Little Jumps Big Changes. The Director of Individual Gifts will create fundraising strategies to steward and cultivate current donors and develop a pipeline of new donors that have the capacity to give. Directly solicits gifts. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for gift entry and database management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in marketing, sales, nonprofit management, communication, business, or related field; minimum 5 years of fundraising experience, including solicitation of individual gifts and campaign management at a nonprofit organization. (Required)- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
- Maintains compliance with the organization's drug-free workplace policy
- Valid Driver’s license and verification of insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel and transport materials, using a cart or other means, to off-site meetings and events.
- Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends that coincide with events and meetings; and multiple work sites.
- CPR & First Aid Certification
