Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to manage and execute day-to-day supply chain operations across procurement, production planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution. This role is critical to ensuring the right products are available at the right time, in the right location, and at the right cost. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party partners to maintain operational efficiency, improve material flow, and support consistent order fulfillment. This is a highly operational role requiring strong execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage real-time supply chain challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Execution
- Execute supply chain plans to support production and customer demand
- Improve inventory positioning and material flow across facilities and 3PL partners
- Monitor performance and resolve operational issues impacting service or cost
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Manage demand planning in collaboration with sales
- Maintain and improve forecasting models based on historical trends
- Adjust production schedules and material forecasts as needed
- Monitor forecast accuracy and take corrective action
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels across all locations
- Maintain safety stock, reorder points, and min/max levels
- Reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
- Support supplier performance tracking (delivery, quality, cost)
- Communicate material risks, delays, or shortages
- Assist with identifying alternate sourcing options
Logistics & Distribution
- Monitor freight performance and identify efficiency improvements
- Ensure proper product flow between suppliers, facilities, and customers
- Support 3PL coordination and performance
Issue Resolution
- Address supply chain disruptions including delays and shortages
- Resolve issues impacting production or customer orders
- Escalate risks and support corrective actions
Continuous Improvement
- Track and report key KPIs (inventory, service levels, forecast accuracy)
- Create and improve SOPs in collaboration with team members
- Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required
Experience
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations
- Hands-on experience with planning, inventory management, and supply chain execution
- Experience working with multi-site operations and third-party logistics (3PL) providers preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (forecasting & data analysis)
- Experience with supply chain planning and forecasting methods
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and reporting dashboards

Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00
