Construction Assistant Project Manager Lead Ground-Up Multi-Family Builds
Job OverviewCompany: Prominent Builders Inc.
Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 $90,000 per year plus Performance-Based Bonus.
Location: Quincy, MA (In Office/Local Travel Required).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday Friday.
Project Scope: Multi-Family / Ground-Up.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
You will serve as a vital link between the office and the field, driving the successful delivery of ground-up residential and commercial projects. This role offers you a clear path toward becoming a Project Manager within a firm that prioritizes internal advancement. You will gain hands-on experience managing complex project lifecycles while receiving direct mentorship from veteran project leaders.
How You Will Make an ImpactCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain seamless momentum across various project phases.
Manage critical project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and detailed project logs.
Evaluate project costs and financial reports to assist leadership with accurate forecasting and budget adherence.
Strengthen the alignment between office and field operations by working closely with on-site Superintendents.
Facilitate effective communication during project meetings with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor site compliance with project specifications and safety standards to ensure high-quality delivery.
Resolve technical and logistical issues early to prevent delays and keep 13 ground-up projects on track.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, or assistant project management.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, project drawings, and technical specifications.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and professional construction management software.
Demonstrated organizational skills necessary for managing multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Absolute willingness to travel between project sites throughout the Greater Boston area as required.
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
Direct experience supporting ground-up multi-family residential or commercial construction projects.
Advanced knowledge of contract administration and the scope review process.
