Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join n interventional pain management practice in Sewell Office. APPs in the practice collaborate with a supervising physician and have a team approach to manage patients in pain. Strong support system to obtain imaging, medications and intervention authorizations and a medical team in the call center to reduce burden of daily calls for our providers.
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with acute and chronic pain in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role requires strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Salary: $110,000-120,000 depending on specialty and experience
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time

Job Title Duties (not limited to):
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including a detailed history of pain, physical examinations, and analysis of diagnostic tests to identify pain sources and determine appropriate management plans.
- Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and other interventional treatments (if trained).
- Collaborate with physicians and pain specialists to develop, implement, and adjust individualized pain management plans that may include medications, interventions (e.g., injections, nerve blocks), physical therapy, and alternative treatments.
- Administer prescribed pain medications, ensuring proper dosages, routes, and adherence to guidelines regarding controlled substances and opioid management protocols.
- Educate patients about pain management techniques, safe medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications that can help manage pain.
- Continuously monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medications or treatments, assess pain levels, and document progress in the patient's medical record. Adjust care plans as necessary based on the patient’s response.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, medications, and patient responses in the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Adhere to all healthcare and legal regulations, including protocols for pain management, opioid safety, and infection control. Ensure that proper protocols are followed for patient safety and medication handling.
Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New Jersey.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AGNP, FNP, or PMHNP preferred).
- Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus.
- DEA registration or eligibility for prescribing controlled substances.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
