Location: Worthington, Ohio

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with a strong background in B2B service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in revenue accounting and banking/treasury operations, demonstrating expertise in managing complex financial processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Accounting or Finance Degree is required and a strong preference for some public accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage revenue accounting processes, including recognition, reporting, and reconciliation in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support billing, collections, and revenue assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Entry Level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred, and some public accounting background is a nice to have.
  • Understanding of B2B service industry financial operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue models.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
