About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with a strong background in B2B service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in revenue accounting and banking/treasury operations, demonstrating expertise in managing complex financial processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Accounting or Finance Degree is required and a strong preference for some public accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage revenue accounting processes, including recognition, reporting, and reconciliation in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
- Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support billing, collections, and revenue assurance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Entry Level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred, and some public accounting background is a nice to have.
- Understanding of B2B service industry financial operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue models.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
