What You’ll Do

• Design digital, print and other types of marketing materials.
• Contribute to layout, typography, and photography decisions.
• Conduct market research to design for different target audiences.
• Brainstorm & contribute ideas in the initial stages of project development.
• Take directions from Creative Director
• Create mood boards & pitches to solidify a unified direction for projects.
• Create pitches to accompany their work (drafts & finals).
• Be a proactive partner anticipating ministry needs & exceeding expectations.
• Adhere to project deadlines.
• Communicate clearly internally with the design & strategy teams and externally with ministry partners.

Skills Needed to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a graphic design role, or the equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Ability to take an overarching design brand and adapt it into multiple digital and print assets.
• Ability to create entire design brand from ideation to finalization into all forms of digital / print media.
• Attention to detail.
• Layout / hierarchy skills.
• Creative and analytical skills.
• Flexibility and can manage constructive criticism.
• Deadline-oriented.
• Time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Desire to work in a fun team environment and seek volunteers to empower and invest in them.
