About This Position
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the 1st Shift Warehouse Associate will perform various Warehouse duties is support of Battery Packs and other items as required. Ability to operate a folk lift, pallet jacks, operate a Pallet/Shrink Wrap Machine, loading and unloading Battery Packs from Charging Stations, good understanding of Inventory Control with First In/First Out (FIFO) stock rotation. Have good computers skills for various tasks of shipping products like e-mail, print/create Certificates of Compliance (C of C), shipping labels (C Of C), and other various documentation. Driving a Van or Box Truck may be required. Key member of a Team to support a specific customer and must do whatever is required.
Warehouse Associate main objective:
• Support a specific customer for warehouse duties and do whatever is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Load/Unload Battery Packs from Conditioning/Charge Stations for just in time delivery.
• Ability to Operate Folk Lift, Pallet Jacks.
• Operate a Pallet/Shrink Wrap Machine
• Inventory Control with First In/First Out (FIFO) stock rotation.
• Have good computers skills for various tasks of shipping products like e-mail, print/create Certificates of Compliance (C of C), shipping labels (C Of C), and other various documentation.
• Valid Driving license for Driving a Van or Box Truck.
• Must be able to Read/Write and clearly communicate in English.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed.
• Overtime may be required from time to time.
• Support and implement process improvements as necessary.
• Maintaining Quality of product is top priority.
• Adhere to and maintain workmanship standards set forth by Aved.
• Daily communication with team focused on Daily/Weekly/Monthly goals.
• Maintain an understanding of all tasks and processes with safety as a priority.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Work with Engineering/Quality personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some warehouse experience helpful.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Driving license in good standing required.
• Accountable, dependable and trustworthy.
• Able to perform work accurately and thoroughly and the ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks and adhere to fluctuating timelines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the team and with other leaders.
• Bending and Lifting up to 35 Lbs.
