About This Position
Position Summary
Facilitates resolution of employee relations issues to achieve world class employee culture and morale. The incumbent will spend significant time on the production floor and be responsible for responding to employee issue quickly and effectively with the goal being to maintain a high level of employee morale.
Essential Functions

EHS:
- Correctly demonstrate and apply all HTGP safety standards while leading others in the same.
- Work closely with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to uphold HTGP safety standards and hold the business accountable for doing the same.

- Deliver results with exemplary quality and precision.
- Adheres to all required IATF 16949 standards.
- Effectively supports HTGP quality standards across the organization.
Leadership:
- Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) policies and procedures.

Productivity:
- Facilitates resolution of employee relations issues.
- Collect and quickly respond to employee complaints / feedback.
- Initiate and conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Clearly understand the needs of our employees and move quickly to either resolve the issue or communicate an answer.
- Coordinate various employee communications.
- Process and coordinate unemployment claims.
- Assist Benefits in the LOA process as needed.
- Facilitate company sponsored events (Open House, VIP visits, Employee lunches etc.).
- Preparing various reports as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with other sections of HR and the business to accomplish business plan.
Education
- High School/GED (required)
- 4 Year Degree or comparable background of work related experience in facilitation and/or instructional systems design

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical demands also at times may include safely handling multiple, continuous parts flow in and out of manufacturing operations work areas which requires pushing and pulling of carts. Work environment is climate controlled in most areas. May be required to sit for long periods, type on a keyboard, speak by phone, move throughout a manufacturing plant environment and listen to Team Members and applicants. The work environment is primarily a temperature controlled office.

Position Requirements and Qualifications
- 1 – 5 years job related experience preferred
Software Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of MS Word/Excel
- Basic understanding of windows explore file storage and retrieval
- ADP
- SAP
Other Information
- Must be willing to work different shifts as required.
- Position may require domestic or international travel.
- Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- OT required as needed.
