What is a Warehouse Worker?
A Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. This role ensures accurate handling of products while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You Can Expect to Do as a Warehouse Worker:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and issues
What We Are Looking For in a Warehouse Worker:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and willingness to learn
