Tool Crib Attendant in Long Beach, California at Tokai Carbon GS

Must have 3 years CNC Experience

Essential Functions:

• Receives, stores and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, measuring devices, materials and/or supplies.
• Assembles new tool kits and upgrades and maintains existing tool kits. Ensures accurate distribution and tracking of items
• Maintains database of issued, damaged, worn out or missing equipment. Research and order new or replacement tools.
• Maintains shop/maintenance supply inventory. Orders and stores required supplies.
• Source and purchase tooling securing best market prices.
• Create a report weekly of all tool readiness status.
• Fabricates/grind nonstandard tooling to specifications supplied by engineering.
• Set tools ready for production, using a tool offset pre-setter.
• Ensure the accuracy of the ERP system through accurate data entry and proper documentation for all ordering and receiving activities.
• Other duties as needed
• Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon GS standards of operations.
• Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a machine shop environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining a tool crib
• Computer Experience including MS Office

Non-Essential Functions:

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

AND

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a machine shop environment and Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining a tool crib
