Neighborhood Health – Accounting Assistant

Part-time, 20 Hours

Our goal is simple: improving access to healthcare in our community and surrounding areas. Neighborhood Health is looking to add an Accounting Assistant to our team. Together, we are all committed to building healthier communities by delivering comprehensive, quality health care with compassion and respect.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will:

✓ Monitor and respond to the accounting email inbox

✓ Assist the Staff Accountant with reconciling patient and insurance payments and recording deposits in accounting software.

✓ Assist Accounts Payable with tracking company credit card expense receipts and entering vendor Information in the AP System.

✓ Assists with reconciling various balance sheet accounts monthly.

Requirements: • Prior accounting experience is a plus. Education Requirements: • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance, or completion of two years of a bachelor’s degree, including a full year of Accounting I courses.
