Financial Analyst in Stamford, Connecticut at ReFocus Eye Health

ReFocus Eye Health is searching for a Financial Analyst with 0-3 years of work experience (recent graduate is acceptable) to join our organization as we scale for current and future growth and carry out the overall finance mission. The ideal candidate will have a corporate finance background preferably in the healthcare space. An MBA is nice to have but not required.

This position is full time at the Stamford, CT location and remote. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include:

· Support the FP&A Manager in 3 areas – financial reporting and analysis, operational reporting and cash management/treasury and reporting

· Prepare monthly, annual and multi-year plans and forecasts and budgets for total and location P&Ls

· Sufficient knowledge of accounting and financial reporting

· Analyze financial trends

· Monthly financial statement flux analysis

· Actual vs. Plan Reporting for Consolidated & Location P&Ls, Balance Sheets & Cashflows

· Prepare lender materials and compliance certificates

· Revenue Cycle, payor, procedure rate and volume analysis

· Finance and planning systems subject matter expert and interest in the IT aspect of Finance and Datawarehouse

Qualifications:

· 0-3 years or progressive finance experience healthcare strongly preferred

· BA/BS in Finance from an accredited college/university is required, MBA is preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAGE accounting systems a plus

· Advanced Excel, with experience with Power BI and Power Pivots

· Working knowledge financial models and modeling tools

· Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills along with the ability to thrive in unstructured, entrepreneurial type of environment.
