The Senior Technical Architect will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, guiding enterprise customers through the design and delivery of AI-first solutions tailored to life sciences organizations.
- Act as a strategic advisor for customers, providing expertise on platform architecture, emerging technologies, and digital transformation strategies.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex technology solutions supporting commercial and clinical operations within the life sciences sector.
- Guide customers and internal teams in adopting innovative technologies that increase business value and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with delivery managers, solution architects, and customer stakeholders to define scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
- Support the development of strategic initiatives that strengthen consulting capabilities and knowledge sharing.
- Identify project risks, recommend solutions, and ensure issues are resolved effectively through strong stakeholder management.
- Manage customer expectations and facilitate alignment between business goals, technical requirements, and third-party partners.
- Review project strategies, technical approaches, and key deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and advise on solutions leveraging modern platforms and AI capabilities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines enterprise architecture expertise, life sciences industry knowledge, and strong consulting capabilities to deliver impactful technology solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or related technology leadership roles.
- 4+ years of experience leading enterprise platform projects and large-scale implementations.
- Strong expertise in application design, data architecture, integration patterns, and security architecture.
- Experience within the life sciences industry, particularly pharmaceuticals or biopharma, with knowledge of commercial operations, healthcare professional engagement, regulatory compliance, or related processes.
- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integrations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, business models, and concepts.
- Resourceful and innovative approach to solving complex technical and business challenges.
- Strong understanding of integration concepts, architectures, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Relevant architecture certifications or platform credentials are highly valued.
- Experience with AI-powered solutions, industry-specific platforms, or advanced CRM transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with life sciences customer engagement models, healthcare professional structures, specialty pharmacy, medical affairs, or compliant workflows is an advantage.
- Competitive annual base salary range of CAD 154,700 to CAD 204,700 for Ontario-based roles.
