We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as a strategic technical advisor supporting complex customer engagements across cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and managed services.
This role combines technical expertise, solution design, and customer-facing leadership to transform business needs into scalable technology strategies.
You will lead discovery sessions, create architectural solutions, and guide opportunities from early conversations through successful delivery.
Working closely with sales teams, technical experts, and executive stakeholders, you will translate complex concepts into clear business outcomes.

The Senior Solutions Architect will own the technical strategy for strategic customer opportunities, helping design, position, and communicate solutions that align technology capabilities with business objectives.
- Lead customer-facing discovery workshops, technical discussions, and architecture sessions with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- Design end-to-end solutions across cybersecurity, enterprise networking, cloud platforms, and managed services environments.
- Architect solutions involving next-generation firewalls, SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Create detailed solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical proposals, bills of materials, and statements of work.
- Partner with sales teams as the primary technical advisor throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from discovery to proposal and closing.
- Develop business cases that demonstrate the value and impact of managed services and recurring technology solutions.
- Translate customer challenges into practical, scalable, and secure technology recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with technology partners and stay current on emerging cybersecurity and infrastructure trends.
- Support continuous improvement of solution methodologies, technical documentation, and customer engagement practices.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, and enterprise technology environments. You should be comfortable engaging with both technical teams and executive decision-makers while designing complex solutions across multiple technology domains.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years in customer-facing pre-sales architecture or senior systems engineering roles.
- Proven experience leading technical discovery, architecture design, and pre-sales engagements for complex networking and cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including next-generation firewalls, SASE, Zero Trust Network Access, and SIEM platforms.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to engineers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to develop clear technical documentation and communicate complex solutions in a business-focused manner.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
- Experience with managed security services, including SOC, MDR, managed SASE, or managed firewall offerings is an asset.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, CCIE, Palo Alto certifications, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or Azure Expert certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, or PCI-DSS is a plus.
- Fully remote position available to candidates located in Canada.
- Competitive annual salary range of CAD $135,000 – $145,000.
